Why I hate Cal Patch

Design-It-Yourself Clothes, p 60

"Take a look at your armpits, and you'll see that they basically are right on the same horizontal line as your bust. [emph. mine]"

Sigh. This shirt is never going to fit.

Yeah, she's obviously talking about preteen girls, anorexic models and women who have never nursed a child. Mine are only up there with the help of serious underwires, lycra and a suspension bridge.

I know, huh? Mine are at least four inches higher than my armpits. That's what you meant, right? *as if*

Even before being pregnant and nursing for 18 months I was never quite so *ahem* lofty. :)

I practically have to draft the bust line and waist line overlapping.

Yeah, we nursers need 3 lines - high bust, bust, and nipple line!

I haven't looked at the top yet, been putting it off for that very reason. Elizabeth said once; "I'm as tall as Mummy's boobies!" to which my husband replied "With or without the bra?" Needless to say he was promptly smacked but he was quite correct. With bra is atleast six inches higher than without :-( Brings a whole new meaning when I say I have nearly seven years breastfeeding expeience under my belt!!
