Clearly, it's time to introduce her to the joys of headphones.
Back in the day, we had a portable DVD player in the car, which Thing 1 & Thing 2 listened to with headphones. Every 20 minutes the blissful silence would be broken by "ANOTHER ONE!" in stereo as a new episode of Dora started.
I got a portable DVD and headphones for our upcoming 5+ hour plane trip. I don't know if I'll add it to the car for trips < 1 hour, but I'm waaaaay ahead of you on the concept. :)
Cory, the Backyardigans are actually pretty watchable. They have original music in every episode, all from the same genre. Eric and I have learned a lot about music from this show.
I live in the desert with my husband, our daughter and our two golden retrievers. Stay-at-home mom, former math/computer geek, erstwhile hobby gourmet cook, sewing dabbler, aspiring yoga instructor, wine enthusiast, semi-skilled baker, failed housekeeper.

I feel like I need to go watch a few episodes of the Backyardigans to get on the bandwagon with the cool kids.
